Exact mirrors of the official releases. Source code and release notes live on
Source code; the binaries are
served from this mirror. Each release page on GitHub carries the same SHA-256 manifest shown
here — the files were verified against it before copying and again after transfer, so you can
check either side against the other. Where a release shipped no manifest, that is stated on the
release itself. Both wallets have a page of their own: Dobbscoin Core and the (BOB) wallet for Android.
Latest release — v0.14.0
Your wallet is converted to a new format the first time v0.14.0 starts.
The built-in miner is 5 to 6 times faster on processors with AVX2 (2 to 3 times on older ones), solo and pool. Windows now has an installer, alongside the zip. The Linux builds no longer need

wallet.dat moves from Berkeley DB to SQLite. The original is kept beside it, unchanged,
as wallet.dat.bdb-<number>, and the new file is checked against it byte for byte
before it takes the name. Older versions cannot open a converted wallet, so back up first;
the release notes explain the way back.

Previous release — v0.13.8
Superseded by v0.14.0. Fine to run through block 2,000,000; it keeps the old wallet format. If you mine, you need at least this one before block 2,000,000.
CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY activates there by height, and because the merge-mining chain ID makes block
versions unreadable past that point there is no signaling to warn anyone first. It is a
soft fork: an older miner can still produce a block that violates a CLTV lock, upgraded nodes
will reject it, and that block is simply lost. At current spacing block 2,000,000 falls around
24 January 2027.
Two things take effect the moment you run it. Signature verification moved from OpenSSL to libsecp256k1, so validation no longer depends on which OpenSSL a binary happened to link against. And a peer-selection loop that could sit on an entire CPU core indefinitely is now bounded, measured at 99.2% of a core before and 0.1% after.
Also here: ten spare DNS seed names beside the original one, because one seed name is one thing to break; and

Older release — v0.13.7
Superseded. Fine to run today; it will strand at block 2,000,000. v0.13.7 fixes pool mining. On v0.13.6 and earlier the wallet hashes at a
normal rate, reports a healthy hashrate in the Mining tab, and the pool never receives a single
share — no accepted, no rejected, no error. If you mine to a pool, use v0.13.7. Solo mining and
ordinary wallet use are unaffected on v0.13.6. This build’s title bar reads
v0.13.7 with no commit suffix, and its Mining tab has an accepted/rejected counter;

What the Linux builds need
The
The AppImage needs none of this. It carries its own copies of all of the above, so if you would rather not install anything, use that. It is the graphical wallet; the tarballs are the daemon and the graphical wallet respectively.
.tar.gz builds are dynamically linked, so they expect a few
libraries to already be on the machine. On a Debian or Ubuntu box:

libboost-program-options1.74.0 libboost-thread1.74.0
Most systems already have all of these. v0.14.0 needs libsqlite3-0 for the new wallet
format and no longer needs libnatpmp1 or libminiupnpc17; the v0.13.x builds
still do, and without them fail in the loader with
error while loading shared libraries: libnatpmp.so.1. That is a missing package, not a
broken download.
